Brussels “L’Olympia” & business leaders collaborate to find additional financial ressources
Several years ago, when there was even less of an urban vision for Brussels than today, there were plans to demolish the art deco Flagey building. Fortunately a group of investors and committed men and women put their intentions, brains and money together to save this architectural jewel at the iconic Ixelles lakes.
Today it hosts the cultural organization – temple – Flagey where cinema is shown and all the different styles of music are performed.
To find additional financial resources my friend Ine Mariën, a strategic communications specialist and passionata for the arts, together with Gilles Ledure, the general manager of the Flagey art temple, also called the Brussels L’Olympia, have gathered a group of leaders from different origins and horizons to form the Flagey Friends strategic committee and help Flagey find the money it so desperately needs. I am happy to be part of this group and support the initiative.

Wat L’Olympia is voor Parijs, is Flagey voor Brussel: een muziek- en cultuurtempel met een ziel en traditie. Flagey beleeft zijn tweede jeugd met dank aan onder meer Brusselse, Vlaamse en Waalse ondernemers.
